There wasn't a promotional video for Shaky's 1980 hit, 'Marie Marie', although a video was recorded in 1984, for inclusion on the compilation release, Shakin' Stevens Video Show Vol.1. |
Strangely, there wasn't a video to promote the 1982 single 'Blue Christmas'. Shaky had to depend on personal appearances to promote the number two hit. |
The video of 'A Love Worth Waiting For' which was filmed over two days, at Farnham and Chiddingfold, Surrey, featured Jason, Shaky's son, playing Shaky as a child. |
During the filming of 'Lipstick Powder & Paint', Shaky did a cartwheel, flew off the stage and ended up in a heap, then you see Shaky's head pop up smiling. This was edited from the final cut, but was televised in full on Swap Shop. You Tube Clip |
Shaky's son Dean features in the video of 'Merry Christmas Everyone'. |
The video for Turning away was filmed in front of a live audience, at the Greyhound Pub, Fulham Palace Road, London. Dave Edmunds who produced the song, appears on guitar in the video. He also produced Shaky first album 'A Legend' in 1970. |
'A Little Boogie Woogie' video directed by Gordon Elsbury features male dancers 'Torso'. |
Two female dancers by the name Cassandra & Lorna feature in 'Come See About Me'. |
The wife of 80's pop singer Adam Ant, appears as one of the dancers in Shaky's "Feel The Need In Me" video. |
Radio D.J. Bruno Brooks appears as a special guest in Shaky's 1992 original video 'Radio' along with Queen's drummer Roger Taylor, and Rod Argent (keyboards) who both play on the single |
